Eldersburg restaurants on and around Liberty Road

Basta Pasta

5957 Exchange Drive, Eldersburg. Family-owned Italian. The dinner menu runs from Chicken Umbertina to Fettuccine Gypsy Pesto, and the kitchen is proud enough of its crab cakes to call them "renowned" on the Basta Pasta website, which also handles online orders for takeout.

Sushi Q8 Eldersburg

1311 Londontown Blvd #220, Eldersburg. If you searched "Sushi Q Eldersburg," this is the place you want, since the Eldersburg location trades as Sushi Q8. It closes at 10 PM, and Sunday service starts at noon. Its own website wasn't loading when we checked, so here's the Sushi Q8 Google Maps listing for hours and directions.

Oscar's Alehouse

1438 Liberty Road, Eldersburg. The original Oscar's pours 36 different beers on draft, but the kitchen holds its own, with wood-grilled salmon and baby back ribs among the mains. Curbside pickup works too: order through Oscar's Eldersburg page and text when you pull in.

Salerno's Restaurant & Catering

1043 Liberty Road, Eldersburg. Salerno's says it still makes its dough the same way it did in 1975, and the menu runs to baked crab dip and the St. Michael's Island lump crab cake. Steamed crabs by the bushel are carryout only, and you can place pickup orders online through Toast.

The County Cork Wine Pub

1716 Liberty Road, in the Carroll Station Shopping Center. Carpaccio and seared breast of duck are both on the menu. Sundays start with brunch. OpenTable reservations and the full menu are on the County Cork site.

Liberatore's Ristorante

6300 Georgetown Blvd, Eldersburg. The Liberatore family has been cooking for the greater Baltimore area since 1988. Their carryout family packages, handy for feeding a crowd, include rigatoni bolognese and chicken parmigiana, and you can order them from Liberatore's Eldersburg page.

The Big Greek Cafe

6400 Ridge Road, Suite 3. A newer arrival in 2026. Order the gyro pita, shaved beef and lamb in a warm wrap, and if it happens to be a Wednesday, gyros drop to $7. Pickup orders run through the Big Greek locations page.

Los Aztecas Mexican Restaurant

1213 Liberty Road, Suite F. Los Aztecas runs two Maryland locations, this one and another in Mount Airy. Sizzling fajitas and the Burrito Norteño appear on the menu, and Los Aztecas takes pickup and delivery orders online.

Main Street Sykesville restaurants

Downtown Sykesville is about 7 minutes south of Liberty Road on MD-32, and it's worth parking once and walking. The Downtown Sykesville restaurant directory lists everything on the strip.

E W Beck's Restaurant & Pub

7565 Main Street, Sykesville. Brothers Scott and Brian Beck opened it in 1992. Wednesdays bring the Beck Burger for $9 and Mondays are pizza night, according to the E W Beck's homepage, where takeout orders go in.

7556 Main Street Bistro

7556 Main Street, Sykesville. Lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch, closed Mondays and Tuesdays. The menu includes a Shrimp Boat, and prime rib hash is on there too. Menus for every service are posted on the bistro's site.

The Local Motive

7540 Main Street, Sykesville. A cozy bar and kitchen with sandwiches, salads and plates to share, plus mocktails for anyone skipping alcohol. Details live on The Local Motive's website.

Uncle Joe's Deli & Market

7611 Main Street, Sykesville. Opened in 2025 by siblings Joe and Colleen with brother-in-law Tyler, this deli serves focaccia sandwiches, house-made sides, and freshly sliced meats and cheeses. It closes in the early evening, so treat it as a lunch stop, and if you're short on time, Uncle Joe's takes orders online ahead of pickup.
